Accounting Students' Society, HKUSTSU

Accounting Students' Society, HKUSTSU was founded in 1992. It is one of the earliest founded and largest departmental societies in the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

The objectives of our Society are always our major concern:

(A) To encourage accounting studies and its application in the field,especially in Hong Kong;
(B) To promote understanding and general welfare among members of the Society;
(C) To secure complete organization and unity within the Society;
(D) To foster a closer relationship among the staff, alumni and our fellow students;
(E) To extend and strengthen our linkage with other clubs and societies in the sphere of academic, social and cultural activities.

It is our pleasure to serve the needs of our members and fellow accounting major students by organizing various functions throughout the year and promoting welfare to them. In addition, we would like to introduce the accounting profession to all business students.

With the generous support from professional accounting organizations, CPA firms and external bodies, various functions will be organized to cater for the needs of our members. Functions such as Mentoring Program and Accounting Festival aim to prepare our members for their future career. Recreational functions such as Join for Joy and Study Tour are to provide entertainment to our members. Intramural is the major sports event. It is hoped that through participating in these events, our members can develop a sense of belonging towards our Society.
